A native Texan, Ross moved to Austin in 2003 to pursue a career in music in the “Live Music Capital of the World.” He spent a decade in vans and tour buses, crisscrossing America and Canada, pausing only to earn his bachelor's
degrees in Journalism and English. After a life-changing flight in the Alaskan bush in 2015, Ross knew he wanted to spend his future in the sky instead of on the asphalt. He holds Commercial ratings for ASEL and AMEL, as well as
CFI, CFII, and MEI certificates. Ross loves cooking, camping, hiking, swimming, and traveling the world with his fiancée and their dog Jack.
